Regular readers know that I am fascinated by the incredible variety of mushrooms that pop up in the spring.

I can't help but take picture after picture of them.

Some of them come up slowly and start with a rounded form and end with a cup shape.

The little grey ones come up in the morning and are gone by evening.

Some look like fantastic hats.
Most of them are growing this year in the back yard where the old maple tree came down.
This makes it easy to spot them when I walk across the yard to the big bird feeder.

Some of those look like fairy goblets. Pretty!
